Usually, automatic weather stations only collect meteorological data, such as rainfall, temperature, humidity, wind force... For instance, it does not continuously collect high-resolution sky or environmental image information of the local area of the meteorological station. However, the ultra-high-definition meteorological station image acquisition system provides rich and diverse picture and video information for the meteorological station.

The high-definition meteorological monitoring and photography system adopts high-resolution digital cameras with a pixel count of over one million. It features automated shooting and is completely waterproof. The captured images are automatically uploaded to web pages or remote computers via the network. Exposure, color balance, sharpening, contrast, and image resolution can be adjusted automatically or manually. Built-in: Network server, remote login server, FTP client program; Supports FTP protocol. This system can automatically take pictures and shut down based on the start and stop times you set. If the camera fails to send any pictures to the computer or malfunctions, its automatic recovery system will automatically shut down and restart the shooting system.

This system is a timed interval shooting system. The interval shooting time can be adjusted at will. All the pictures taken are saved on the computer hard drive, which can collect and save the meteorological picture data of the meteorological station for several days, several months, several years or more than ten years in detail. The pictures are marked with location, time and temperature and other data, which is convenient for future comparison and analysis.

The system also provides a video of several hours or a day's image data, so you can quickly browse the weather video of several hours, the day, or even a year or several years (see the figure below). Please click on the following example to view (Note: This example was not taken by yourself)

The above three examples enable relevant personnel to view cloud images and environmental climate operation conditions from several hours or 24 hours ago very smoothly and quickly on web pages or mobile phones.

Meteorological data comes from two sources. One is from the Vantage Pro2 Davis weather station. This is a high-end, automated weather station that records wind speed and direction, air temperature, humidity, air pressure and rainfall data. The sensor transmits data to the console via wireless communication every 2.5 seconds, and the console transmits the data to a computer via a USB cable. These data are saved in the form of snapshots on the computer every five minutes and simultaneously uploaded to the Internet for viewing. Another way is to obtain free real-time meteorological data from meteorological stations.

The minimum pixel of the images captured by the digital camera is 680x480, and the maximum is 2048x1152(high definition). Images are uploaded every five minutes (can be set arbitrarily).

                                      Web page

All the pictures of each of the last five days (as shown in the picture above) can also be viewed from the web page uploaded by this system.

Therefore, this system can continuously provide the meteorological observation center with image information on local weather, environment, etc. for the current day, seven days a week, and 365 days a year For analysis purposes, the Vantage Pro2 weather station transmits conventional meteorological information such as temperature, humidity and wind speed. Its high-definition images and meteorological data are transmitted to the web pages of the website or remote computers via the network. Users can view them anywhere with their mobile phones. It provides another approach for analyzing local air quality, visibility and other meteorological conditions, meeting the requirements of local meteorological stations for meteorological data and high-resolution on-site image data.

Weather picture

To forecast the weather, an image data for assessment has been added.

Weather pictures have the characteristics of real-time, continuity and long-term nature, and are easy to compare

• Provide more intuitive on-site real scene pictures with excellent visual effects

High-resolution images provide greater convenience, intuitiveness and accuracy for manual assessment

It can capture some scene images that are relatively difficult to photograph (as shown in the following picture)

Weather photos facilitate citizens and tourists to understand the latest weather conditions near the stations
